17/4/2008 - Scunthorpe Steelers 40 v Lincoln Panthers 61
Steelers are unable to carry there league form into the Champions Final, losing to the League champions Panthers.
15/4/2008 - Doncaster League Cup semi Final
Steelers win 62 points to Hull Stingers 60 points in one of the best games of the season. As the score suggest's it was a close game but the Steelers have a new shout of " Ross Time " due to #6 Ross Stafford scoring from the half way line in the last 4 seconds of the 2nd quarter.

Thirteen league wins on the trot for the Steelers as they win 64 points to 51 against Darfield.
Steelers will now meet the Hull Stingers in the League Cup Semi Final on Tuesday the 15th of April, 8.30pm tip.

8/4/2008 - Champions Cup Semi Final
Steelers play the South Linc's Dragons away in the Champions Cup Semi Final winning 66 points to 59. The Steelers meet Lincoln Panthers in the final at Lincoln university on thursday the 17th of April.
3/4/2008 - Lincs League Handicap Final - Steelers 73 v Grantham 86
Steelers reach the Handicap final against Grantham Outlaws.
Gantham start the game with a 25 point lead and in the 1st quarter Grantham managed to keep this advantage. The 2nd quarter, being the Steelers best period of the game saw them only 11 points adrift. Normally the 3rd quarter is the Steelers strongest but with good defensive work from Grantham Steelers were having to chase the game eventually losing the 3rd by 11 points which they were unable to recoup in the 4th.

Steelers top scorer tonight is #22 Nana Jumah on 23 points followed by #23 Kris Michalski on 19points, Kris was also awarded a much deserved most valuable player trophy from the match officials.

18/3/2008 - Scunthorpe Steelers 71 v Hull Stingers 56
Steelers lost there away match to the Hawks by 2 points early in the season so were hoping to win the home match and not spoil there run of eleven wins on the trot.
Steelers surged ahead by 10 points from the tip of with no reply from the Hawks but somehow managed to lose the first quarter by 21 points to 12. In the 2nd quarter the Steelers managed to regain some composure to there game and ended the 1st half 2 points in front. The 3rd quarter saw the Steelers taking control of the game giving them an advantage in the 4th to come out eventual winners in what was one of the best games of the season from a spectators point of view.

13/3/2008 - Lincoln Panthers 47 v Scunthorpe Steelers 61
Steelers play away at the Panthers in the Lincs's League Handicap competition. Panthers start the game giving Steelers a 5 point lead but after a close first quarter which ended 15 all the Steelers took control of the game. Panthers are a strong team and it will go down as one of the Steelers best wins of the season to date.
